Terms & Conditions


Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any football classes or camps provided by Raith Rovers Community Foundation. By booking and participating in our football classes, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with the booking.

1. Definitions

1.1 "Charity" refers to Raith Rovers Community Foundation, the organisation offering football classes and camps to children and young people.

1.2 "Participant" refers to the child or young person who will be attending the football classes or camps.

1.3 "Guardian" refers to the parent or legal guardian of the Participant who is responsible for making the booking and ensuring compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking Process

2.1 All bookings must be made through the online booking system provided by the Charity, in this case Class4Kids, which is accessed via https://raithroverscf.class4kids.co.uk.

2.2 The Guardian must provide accurate information during the booking process, completing each field that is required and making us aware of any changes to this information as it when they occur.

2.3 The availability of football classes and camps is subject to capacity, and bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Waiting lists will be in operation should classes and/or camps reach capacity with places being allocated on a first-come, first served basis.

2.4 Upon completing the booking process, the Guardian will receive a confirmation email with details of the booking and payment information.

3. Payment

3.1 The cost of the football classes or camps will be clearly stated on the online booking system.

3.2 Payment for camp periods must be made in full and in advance, with bookings only confirmed after this has happened.

3.3 Payment for term time classes are subscriptions which run 12-months of the year, made by recurring card payments on the first of each month.

3.4 The Charity reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Participant's involvement in football classes or camps in the event of missed payments and outstanding monies owed to the Charity.

3.5 The Charity reserves the right to waive subscription fees, missed payments or outstanding monies owed to the Charity. The Charity reserves the right to offer payment holidays, a temporary pause in membership fees or free memberships to Guardians.

3.6 Payments can be made using the accepted payment methods specified on the online booking system.

3.7 All fees paid are non-refundable, except as provided in the Cancellation and Refund Policy (Section 5).

3.8 The Guardian is liable for all missed payments or outstanding monies owed to the Charity.

4. Participation and Conduct

4.1 Participants are expected to arrive promptly for each class or camp session and be appropriately dressed in suitable sports attire and footwear.

4.2 Participants must follow the instructions and guidelines provided by the Charity's coaches and staff.

4.3 Participants must behave respectfully towards coaches, staff, other participants, and the facilities being used.

4.4 The Charity reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Participant's involvement in football classes or camps in the event of disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.

4.5 The Guardian acknowledges that football is a physical activity and involves inherent risks. The Guardian accepts full responsibility for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the Participant's participation in the football classes or camps.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Camp Period: Cancellations made by the Guardian with at least 14 days' notice prior to the camp's start date will be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 14 days' notice are not eligible for a refund. The Charity reserves the right to offer a refund, with refund requests to be made by the Guardian e-mailing community@raithrovers.net.

5.2 Classes: To cancel a subscription, the Guardian must email community@raithrovers.net with a minimum of 3 working days' notice prior to the next payment date. Refunds will not apply if the cancellation request is received less than 3 working days before the payment date, and the payment has already been processed. No refunds will be provided for classes that have already taken place.

6. Changes and Cancellations by the Charity

6.1 The Charity reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, location, or coaches of the classes or camps. In such cases, the Guardian will be notified promptly via e-mail, and reasonable efforts will be made to offer suitable alternatives.

6.2 If the Charity cancels a camp period before its scheduled start date, the Guardian will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer the booking to another available period.

7. Data Protection

7.1 The Charity will collect and process personal data provided by the Guardian in accordance with applicable data protection laws. The data will be used for the purpose of managing the football classes or camps and communicating with the Guardian.

7.2 The Guardian's personal data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law or for safeguarding purposes.

8. Insurance Coverage

8.1 Participants enrolled in classes or camps provided by the Charity are covered by the Charity's Public Liability Insurance.

8.2 The Public Liability Insurance provides coverage for injuries or accidents that may occur during the football classes or camps, subject to the terms and conditions of the policy.

8.3 It is important to note that the insurance coverage does not extend to damage or loss to personal property belonging to Participants or their Guardians.

8.4 The Charity is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought by Participants to the football classes or camps. Participants and their Guardians are advised to take appropriate precautions and secure their personal belongings.

8.5 Participants and their Guardians understand and acknowledge that any personal property brought to the football classes or camps is done so at their own risk, and the Charity shall not be held liable for any such damage or loss.

8.6 Participants and their Guardians are encouraged to obtain personal insurance coverage for their personal property if they deem it necessary.
